El objetivo es conocer herramientas digitales para detectar indicios de fraude u otras irregularidades en compras públicas y su contribución para apoyar la eficiencia del gasto y la efectividad de las auditorías. Se mostrará el funcionamiento del sistema de banderas rojas en materia de compras y contrataciones creado a nivel regional, y cuyo piloto fue implementado en Paraguay, y también el Sistema de Alerta Preventiva y Reactiva de la DGCP de República Dominicana.

The objective is to learn about digital tools to detect signs of fraud or irregularities in the public procurement processes and their contribution to support the efficiency of the public spending and the effectiveness of audits. We are going to present how the red flags system in terms of public procurement and contracting, created at the regional level, works. We will show the pilot system that is being implemented in Paraguay, and also the Preventive and Reactive Alert System of the DGCP of the Dominican Republic.
